Christine DeSmet
Christine DeSmet is an award-winning fiction writer and professional screenwriter. She is the author of the bestselling Fudge Shop Mystery Series and the popular novella series called Mischief in Moonstone.
She is a Distinguished Faculty Associate in Writing at University of Wisconsin-Madison where she teaches novel writing and screenwriting and directs the annual summer Write-by-the-Lake Writer’s Workshop & Retreat. Through her master classes she has seen many of her adult students become published.
She is also a professional writing coach in the UW-Madison Writers’ Institute conference’s Pathway to Publication program.
Christine is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, Wisconsin Writers Association, Wisconsin Screenwriters Association, and other professional associations.
