From businesswoman to “big kid” and everything in between, Helen Ksypka’s personality runs the gamut. It’s the same with Helen’s writing. It spans a broad range, encompassing an array of genres and styles.<\/p>\n
Penning her first poem, at age seven, sparked Helen’s muse; at age fourteen she emerged as an award-winning essayist, and a year later her songwriting talent bloomed.<\/p>\n
By adulthood, she catapulted to professional status, writing TV spots and comedy sketches, ad copy, nationally syndicated radio bits and numerous other formats including articles, expert advice, commentaries, and humor.<\/p>\n
Helen’s scriptwriting ability led her to the California based publisher, “Children’s Story Scripts”. (Story\/scripts ore read in group settings, helping kids overcome performance anxiety.) \u00a0Helen’s titles include:\u00a0Dave’s Unhappy Teeth, The Determined Maiden, Booga the Caveman Discovers Oil<\/em>, and\u00a0Oh, Please, Not Opera…; Learning LaBoheme<\/em>. The latter proves to be very popular because Helen found a way to make opera so much fun that kids actually enjoy it.<\/p>\n Also a prize-winning poet, Helen’s humorous poems have been published in several anthologies.
