Wayne Winkle is a board-certified family psychologist with thirty years’ experience in the field. \u00a0He earned his doctorate at Texas A&M University at Commerce where he wrote the major portion of a National Institute of Mental Health grant for the university.<\/p>\n
In 1980, Winkle received the AAMFT Dissertation Research Award for excellence in writing and research. \u00a0He was nominated to Who\u2019s Who in American Writing in 1982. \u00a0Dating from 1986, Winkle has been listed in several Who\u2019s Who publications. \u00a0These include Who\u2019s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who\u2019s Who in the South and Southwest, Who\u2019s Who Among Emerging Leaders in America, and Who\u2019s Who Among Human Service Providers.<\/p>\n
His writing credits include five articles published in professional journals, a chapter in a professionally-edited book, three grant proposals, and two book reviews. In addition he has sold an article to LIVING WITH TEENAGERS. \u00a0At the current time, he has two non-fiction ebooks published and is working on yet another novel.<\/p>\n
Winkle and his wife of 31 years, Vicki, live in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. \u00a0They are the proud grandparents of Collin and Emily.<\/p>\n
