Kate Sellen lives in the hinterland of Byron Bay, on the North Coast of NSW, Australia.
In times gone by, Kate has worked in all areas of Theatre; performing, directing, teaching and writing scripts. This, oddly enough, saw her catapulted into a conservatorium, a college, a university, plus primary and high schools, after moving north.
Kate taught and lectured, then decided it was time to grow up and do something serious. Like writing.
In 1989 Kate self-published a book of poetry with Aboriginal, Ted Rickards. She has also written numerous scripts and pieces for performance, including a one-woman show, "Lust for Life", published poetry and short stories for adults.
Kate's first two Picture Books are published with Writers Exchange E-Publishing.
